How to solve wordpress page not found error when editing or publishing new post.

Sometimes you may face some problem with wordpress cms. Page not found or 404 error is one of them.
Why you are getting this error while your page of post still in there?
Another problem can be happen when you are trying post a new post or page.

In today’s post I am going to share two problems and also I will go through the resolving process.
1. You have post in your website, But when you want to see them you are getting page not found or 404 error.
How to solve wordpress page not found error in viewing mode :
Go your wordpress dashboard > settings > click on permalinks > after that click save changes.

This process will update your permalinks settings.
If this process not work for you, You will need to update or edit your .htaccess settings manually.

To do that-

Login to your server using FTP and modify .htaccess file manually.

You will find the file in the same location where /wp-content and /wp-includes are located.

Now you can add the below code manually in it

# BEGIN WordPress

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

# END WordPress

2. Another problem you may face in wordpress(Specialy if you are using namecheap service). When you trying make a new post it may return to a page not found error.
If you are using some links in your post this may turn into page not found error.

How to solve page not found error when posting new post in wordpress :

Firts try to diasable all the plugins and switch the theme. If not work, Its not your problem at all.

In namecheap services they activate ModSecurity. You will need to turn this off.

To do that- go to your cpanel and go through security.
In that section select ModSecurity and turn that off.
If you are not able to find it You will need to contact with their help desk.

Namecheap has a live chat option for help. You can use it. They may take 20 min. to solve your problem. In my case they took only 2 minutes to solve it.
